A strong unique continuation theorem is presented for time harmonic Maxwell equations in a three-dimensional inhomogeneous anisotropic medium. It is assumed that the components of the matrices in the constitutive equations are Hölder continuous, and that they are differentiable with the exception of a single point where critical singularities of a Coulomb type occur. The restrictions imposed by these assumptions prevent the use of the normal second order approach, so instead the structural properties of Maxwell's equations expressed as a first order system are used.
