The paper is concerned with the study of two extensions of the concept of Morita duality for Grothendieck categories: the first one due to Colby and Fuller, the second one to Anh and Wiegandt. The relationship between these two versions is studied, too. A negative answer is given to a question of Colby and Fuller in the case of an abelian category, and some results for the problem in Grothendieck categories are also given. Dualities are studied between a Grothendieck category and a module category from these two points of view. Some conditions in terms of linear compactness for a Grothendieck category to have a Colby-Fuller duality are given, and these are applied to the study of \(QF\)-3 and \(QF\)- \(3'\) rings.
