The main purpose of this article is to provide a classification of all finite dimensional Levi-Tanaka algebras of CR codimension two and to construct the corresponding standard homogeneous CR manifolds. This work is in continuation with three important previous works of the authors: Compos. Math. 109, No. 2, 195-250 (1997; Zbl 0955.32029); Ann. Mat. Pura Appl., IV. Ser. 174, 285-349 (1998; Zbl 0999.17039) and Math. Ann. 317, No. 3, 509-526 (2000; Zbl 1037.32031). A transitive graded Lie algebra \(g= \bigoplus_{k\in {\mathbb Z}} g_k\) is called a Levi-Tanaka algebra if it is pseudocomplex, its subalgebra \(\bigoplus_{k<0} g_k\) is fundamental and \(g\) is maximal in the class of transitive pseudocomplex prolongations of \(\bigoplus_{k<0} g_k\). The kind of \(g\) is the largest integer \(\mu\) such that \(g_{-\mu}\neq 0\). Remind that it is easy to see that the standard homogeneous CR manifolds of codimension one are projective CR quadrics. In the two-codimensional case, the authors obtain five classes of standard homogeneous CR manifolds corresponding to Levi-Tanaka algebras of the second kind: (1) The Cartesian product of two projective CR quadrics of the hypersurface type. (2) An irreducible standard CR manifold, associated to a simple Levi-Tanaka algebra of the complex type \(A_\ell\). (3) A nondegenerate affine CR quadric. (4) A smooth CR fibration over a projective quadric of the hypersurface type. (5) A smoooth fibration over a complex projective space. For this classification, the authors use the canonical form of a pair of Hermitian symmetric matrices [cf. \textit{R. C. Thompson}, Linear Algebra Appl. 14, 135-177 (1976; Zbl 0386.15011)]. Finally, in the third kind case, the authors show that the CR dimension is necessarily equal to one and the model is the well known CR cubic \(\text{ Im} w_1=|z|^2\), \(\text{Im} w_2=|z|^2 (z+\bar z)\).
