The paper under review defines, for a log-smooth fine and saturated log-scheme, a functor from Frobenius-crystals to overconvergent crystals. It is faithful and preserves tensor products and duals, but not cohomology. This is probably due to the fact that the residues of the connection may have positive integers as eigenvalues. At least this is shown if the log-scheme comes from a normal crossings divisor.
