Let \(A= (A_1,A_2,\dots, A_n)\) be a contractive \(n\)-tuple on a Hilbert space. In case the operators are mutually commuting, \textit{W. Arveson} [J. Reine Angew. Math. 522, 173-236 (2000; Zbl 0951.47008)] defined a curvature invariant and Euler characteristic for the \(n\)-typle. The present author works with the case of non-commuting operators and defines curvature invariant and Euler characteristic for the \(n\)-tuple, which are non-commutative analogues of Arveson's invariants, but not their generalizations to the non-commutative case. When the operators \(A_k\) are isometries, these invariants both equal the wandering dimension of the \(n\)-tuple. The author provides a number of examples to demonstrate the usefulness of these invariants.
