This paper is devoted to the evaluation of Cauchy singular and hypersingular boundary integral equations appearing when the Galerkin boundary element method is applied to 3D potential problems defined on polygonal domains. The authors give explicit results of the analytical inner integrations and suggest suitable quadrature schemes to evaluate the outer integrals required to form the Galerkin matrix elements, when constant and linear shape functions are used.
