The authors study the infinitely differentiable functions \(\varphi\) on \(\mathbb{R}\) satisfying the inequalities \(|x^k\varphi^{(n)}(x)|\leq C_{kn}\) for \(\{k,n\}\subset\mathbb{Z}_+\), where \(\{C_{kn}\}\) is a double sequence of positive numbers. By a space of type \(S\) is understood the set of these functions with the specific choice of the double sequence \(\{C_{kn}\}\). It is proved that there exists a space \(S\) with the property that \(\varphi\in S\) if and only if \(\varphi\) can be analytically continued into the complex plane \(\mathbb{C}\) to an entire function \(\varphi(z)\). For \(0<R\leq\infty\), let \(A_R\) be the space of univalent analytic functions on the disk \(K_R= \{z:|z|< R\}\) with the topology of compact convergence. For a given function \(F\in A_R\), \(F(z)= \sum^\infty_{k=0} a_k z^k\), and a given \(m\in\mathbb{N}\), the generalized differential operator \(D^m(F,\cdot)\) is defined by \[ D^m(F,\varphi(z))= \sum^\infty_{k=m} b_k{a_{k-m}\over a_k} z^{k-m},\quad\text{where }\varphi(z)= \sum^\infty_{k= 0} b_k z^k, \] and it is assumed that \(\lim_{k\to\infty}\root k-m\of{|a_{k-m}/a_k|}= 1\). As the main result, it is proved that there exist spaces of type \(S\) for which the operator \(D^m(F,\cdot)\) is applicable for every \(m\in\mathbb{N}\).
