Consider a zero-sum, 2-player, differential game. The state vector belongs to Euclidean n-space, each player has a bounded scalar control, and dynamics are linear. Player 1 seeks to minimize the distance from the final state to a target hyperplane; player 2, to maximize this distance. This setup constitute a Game with Bounded Controls (GBC). A first step is to transform GBC into a reduced GBC (RGBC), where the initial dynamic system is reduced to a scalar initial value problem. The paper then solves that problem for open loop and feedback controls. In the feedback case, the determining function may change sign an arbitrarily large, but finite, number of times.
