    The authors consider extremal characteristics of the form \[ \chi _{n,r,m,p,\gamma ,\beta }\left( h\right) :=\sup\limits_{f\in L_{2}^{\left( r\right) },f^{\left( r\right) }\neq \text{const}}\frac{ 2^{m}n^{r}E_{n}\left( f\right) }{\left( \int\limits_{0}^{h}\omega _{m}^{p}\left( f^{\left( r\right) },t\right) \sin ^{\gamma }\frac{\beta }{h} tdt\right) ^{1/p}}, \] where \(\omega _{m}\left( f,t\right) \) is the \(m\)th-order modulus of continuity of a function \(f\in L_{2}\) and \(E_{n}\left( f\right) \) is the best approximation in \(L_{2}\) by trigonometric polynomials of degree \(\leq n-1\).
