    The authors consider a subset \({\mathcal F}_g\) of the class \({\mathcal F}\) of \(C^3\) multimodal interval maps which was studied in [the authors, Commun. Math. Phys. 300, No. 1, 65--94 (2010; Zbl 1211.37031)]. The set \({\mathcal F}_g\) is characterized by a certain growth condition. Using the thermodynamic formalism the authors determine the Hausdorff dimension of level sets of the Lyapunov exponent. Further they study the multifractal spectrum of the pointwise dimension of equilibrium measures for Hölder potentials. These considerations improve results by the second author [``Multifractal analysis for multimodal maps '', Preprint \url{arXiv:0809.1074}]. As in [loc. cit.] the authors use the so-called inducing schemes.
