Intersective polynomials are polynomials with integer coefficients which have a root modulo \(d\) for every \(d>0\). The author proves that for any intersective polynomial \(h\) and for any subset \({\mathcal A}\) of the prime numbers with positive upper relative density, there exist distinct elements \(p_1,p_2\) of \({\mathcal A}\) and \(n\in{\mathbb Z}\) such that \(p_1-p_2=h(n)\). The same result is proved for subsets \({\mathcal A}\) with positive upper relative density in the set of Chen primes. ( A Chen prime \(p\) is a prime number such that \(p+2\) is either a prime or a product \(p_1p_2\) of primes with \(p_1,p_2>p^{\frac{3} {11}}\). )
