In this note the author introduces the notions of nets and filters in the sense of intuitionistic fuzzy sets. An intuitionistic fuzzy set is regarded as a pair of membership and non-membership functions \(\langle\mu_A(x), \gamma_A(x)\rangle\) for any \(x\) in \({\mathbf X}\) and \(\mu_A:{\mathbf X}\to [0,1]\), \(\gamma_A:{\mathbf X}\to [0,1]\), where \(\mu_A(x)+ \gamma_A(x)\leq 1\). While it is shown that intuitionistic fuzzy nets are fuzzy nets, it is demonstrated that the notion of convergence for intuitionistic fuzzy nets exploits the concept of \(\varepsilon\)-neighborhood. The properties of intuitionistic fuzzy filters are investigated and afterwards the correspondence between net convergence and filter convergence is established.
