Let \(X\) be a Banach space and let \(K\) be a locally compact space and let \(C_0(K,X)\) denote the space of \(X\)-valued continuous functions on \(K\), vanishing at infinity, equipped with the supremum norm. This paper deals with the interesting question of studying topological properties that are preserved under isomorphisms of these spaces. The authors show that when \(X\)-valued spaces on \(K\) and \(S\) are isomorphic, then \(|K||S|<\aleph_0\) or \(|K|=|S|\). This result, under the additional hypothesis that \(X^\ast\) has the Radon-Nikodým property, was proved by \textit{L. Candido} and \textit{E. M. Galego} [Proc. Am. Math. Soc. 141, No. 10, 3529--3538 (2013; Zbl 1278.46034)]. Under the additional assumption that \(X\) contains no copy of \(c_0\), for an into isomorphism \(T: C_0(K) \rightarrow C_0(S,X)\), if \(\|T\|\|T^{-1}\| <3\), for any ordinal \(\alpha\) such that \(S^{(\alpha)}\) is infinite, one has \(|K^{(\alpha)}| \leq |S^{(\alpha)}|\).
