The authors study the behaviour of a solution to a Fredholm integral equation of the second kind on a union of open intervals. The purpose of the paper is to study the regularity of the solution in the case where the kernel is at most weakly singular on the diagonal. Assuming certain differentiability properties of the kernel and the free term, the authors estimate the growth rates of the derivatives of the solution near the boundary. The weighted spaces of smooth functions with boundary singularities containing the solution of the integral equation are described.
