In this article, we have investigated the onset of instability in the flow of the micropolar fluid between two rotating concentric cylinders and the flow in a curved channel, under small gap approximation. The solution of the eigenvalue problems, governing the onset of instability, are obtained by using the shooting method. It is seen that the flows are stable when micropolar elements are present in the fluid.
