    Eigenvalue problems of the form \(-\Delta u=\lambda f(u)\) in \(\Omega\), \(u|_{\partial \Omega}=0\), \(u\in C^ 2(\Omega)\cap C({\bar \Omega})\) on the annulus domain \(\Omega =\{x\in {\mathbb{R}}^ n| \quad 0<a<| x| <b<\infty \}\) are considered. The function f satisfies the conditions: \(f\in C^ 2({\mathbb{R}})\), \(f(0)>0\), f'(0)\(\geq 0\), f(t)\(\geq 0\) for \(t\in {\mathbb{R}}\), \(f''(t)>0\) for \(t>0\), \(\lim_{t\to \infty}f(t)/t=\infty\), there exists \(\theta\in (0,)\) such that \(\theta f(t)t\geq \int^{t}_{0}f(s)ds\) for t large enough. The authors prove that there exists \({\bar \lambda}>0\) such that for each \(\lambda\in (0,{\bar \lambda})\) the set of the solutions \((S_{\lambda})\) contains a radial function other than the minimal element of \(S_{\lambda}\).
