Let \(\xi\) (x), \(x\in R^ n\), be a real measurable, mean square continuous, isotropic and homogeneous in wide sense random field (i.h.r.f.), i.e. \[ E(\xi (x))=\alpha >0,\quad \gamma (| x- y|)=E[\xi (x)-\alpha][\xi (y)-\alpha] \] depends only on \(| x- y|\). Let \(f(x)=f(| x|):\) [0,\(\infty)\to [1,\infty)\) be a continuous radial monotone function such that \(\lim_{| x| \to \infty}f(| x|)=\infty\). Let \[ T_ s^{(1)}=\int_{v(s)}\chi (\xi (x)>f(x))dx=| \{x\in v(s):\quad \xi (x)>f(x)\}|, \] where \(\chi\) (\(\circ)\) is an indicator function and \(\xi\) (x), \(x\in R^ n\), is some i.h.r.f. The author investigates the limit behaviour of \(T_ s^{(1)}\) and the aim of this note is to reduce geometrical functionals from some i.h.r.f. to more simple functionals.
