Using the finite difference method, the author studies numerically the effect of constant suction or blowing on steady two-dimensional laminar flow about a uniform wedge. In general, it has been found that the local skin friction coefficient and the local Nusselt number increase due to the suction. This effect is reduced for blowing the fluid.
