In the theory of partitions, a central role is played by identities that equate an infinite sum with an infinite product. These identities are objects of beauty as well as useful tools. Many researchers have paid intellectual homage of offering their own proofs of such well-known items as the triple and their own proofs of such well-known items as the triple and quintuple product identities. The authors continue this tradition, presenting also an alternatve proof of the recently discovered septuple product identity.
