Let \(V\) be a variety of Lie superalgebras over a field \(k\), \(\text{char}\, k\neq 2\). Assume first that \(\text{char}\, k=0\). Then the following are equivalent: (i) for each finitely generated Lie superalgebra \(L\in V\) there exists a field extension \(F/k\) such that \(L\) can be embedded as \(k\)-algebra into a finite dimensional Lie superalgebra over \(F\); (ii) (a) any finitely generated Lie superalgebra \(L= L_ 0\oplus L_ 1\in V\) satisfies an identity \[ \prod_{i=1}^ m (\text{ad}\, [x_ i, y_ i]) =0, \] where \(x_ i, y_ i\in L_ 0\); (b) \(V\) satisfies identities of the forms \[ (\text{ad}\,x) (\text{ad}\,y)^ n z=\sum_{j=1}^ n \alpha_ j (\text{ad}\,y)^ j (\text{ad}\,x) (\text{ad}\, y^{n-j})z, \qquad \alpha_ j\in k, \] where \(y\in L_ 0\), \(x\in L_ \beta\), \(z\in L_ \gamma\), \(0\leq\beta \leq \gamma\leq 1\). If \(k\) is infinite, \(\text{char}\,k>2\), and \(V\) is locally solvable then (i) is equivalent to (b). Similar results for varieties of Lie algebras have been considered by the author in [Mat. Sb. 180, No. 6, 798--808 (1989; Zbl 0688.17004)].
