The authors study the dynamical behavior of the first-order nonlinear differential system \[ \frac{dx}{dt}=x^2y- (B+1)x +A +\alpha \cos \omega t, \quad \frac{dy}{dt}=-x^2y+Bx\tag{1} \] in the parameter space \((A,B)\). For systems obtained from (1) by a change of variables, they investigate existence and stability of periodic solutions and the bifurcation of the subharmonic solution from the original period solution. Theoretical results are supported by some numerical computations.
