A Cauchy completion which behaves functorially on a certain class of Cauchy spaces typically requires that all members of the given class be Hausdorff. For instance, the ``Wyler completion'' is the only completion functor on the category of all Hausdorff Cauchy spaces and Cauchy-continuous maps. By appropriately restricting the morphisms to ``\(s\)-maps'', the author obtains a completion functor on a category whose objects include all Cauchy spaces.
