The asymptotic behaviour of a sequence of boundary value problems, depending on a parameter \(\epsilon\to 0\), is studied in the framework of epi-convergence methods. By a perturbation of the initial problems, one obtains the dual problems, which have physical meaning. The convergence of dual variables is studied. A result is presented concerning the weak sequential epi-convergence in non-reflexive spaces. Applications are given for problems with thin layers of weak or strong conductivity.
