The authors consider the Beltrami equation of type \[ \bar\partial{\phi} = \beta\frac{\,f\overline{f'}}{\,\overline f f'}\partial{\phi}. \] They obtain an integral representation for its solutions, which is a generalization of the Cauchy integral. Then they use this to prove certain analogues of some classical results of complex analysis for the solutions of the Beltrami equation.
