The authors are concerned with FEM solutions to stationary variational-hemivariational inequalities. They pay attention to the existence and uniqueness results for such inequalities, as well as to the rigorous formulation for the FEM in order to accurately solve them. Some contact problems with and without friction are considered and some interesting numerical experiments are carried out.
