In this short paper, the author proves the following result: if r is any non-zero real number, then the sequence \(\langle(d/c,rs(d,c))\rangle\), \(c=1,2,\dots\), \(0<d<c\), \((c,d)=1\), is uniformly distributed modulo one. Here, \(s(d,c)\) represents the classical Dedekind sum. The proof uses Weyl's criterion and has two parts. Essentially, when \(r\) is irrational, the result follows directly from a theorem of \textit{I. Vardi} [Duke Math. J. 55, 189--197 (1987; Zbl 0623.10025)] on generalized Kloosterman sums. When \(r\) is rational, the sum in Weyl's criterion is reduced to classical Kloosterman sums where an appeal to Weil's estimate completes the proof.
