The asymptotic behaviour of the solutions of the one-dimensional flow of a gas in a porous medium is studied. It is proved that the interface between the sets with zero gas-density and the sets with positive gas- density is a \(C^{\infty}\)-curve. If the initial data are compact, the solution is spatially concave in its support after a finite time.
