A blocking set \(K\) of \(PG(3,q)\) is a set of points of the space which has non-empty intersection with every plane. By a result of Storme and Weiner, the projection of \(K\) by a point \(P\) on a plane \(\pi\) which does not contain \(P\) is still a blocking set. In particular, the projection of a non-trivial blocking set of \(PG(3,q^2)\) on a plane always contains a Baer subplane. Plenty of information on a blocking set \(K\) may be recovered just from the study of its projections on the same plane \(\pi\) from two different points, say \(P_0\) and \(P_1\), both not in \(\pi\). Hence, a useful tool to study such blocking sets is the classification of the intersection of two Baer cones, with vertex in a point and basis a Baer plane. In the paper under review, all the possible intersection configurations of two Baer cones of \(PG(3,q^2)\) with distinct vertices are classified.
