The one-dimensional Schrödinger equation is solved by a set of exponentially fitted predictor-corrector Numerov-type methods. They integrate exactly more exponential functions then either fourth-order exponentially fitted Numerov-type methods or sixth-algebraic-order Runge-Kutta methods.
