For an invertible weighted homogeneous polynomial \(f\), one can associate the Berglund-Hübsch transpose \(f^T\) with \(f\). The first author of the paper under review and \textit{A. Takahashi} [Compos. Math. 147, No. 5, 1413--1433 (2011; Zbl 1238.14029)] generalized Arnold's strange duality using the Berglund-Hübsch transpose. In the paper under review, the authors consider an invertible bimodal polynomial \(f(x,y,z)\) and construct the Coxeter-Dynkin diagram with respect to a distinguished basis from \(f^T(x,y,z)\) as follows (in the paper, the symbols \(f\) and \(f^T\) are interchanged). They construct a K3 surface \(X\) obtained by the resolution of the compactification of a suitable deformation of \(f^T=0\) and the triangulated category generated by line bundles on certain curves on \(X\). Then the corresponding Grothendieck group with the (negative) Euler pairing can be described by the diagram.
