    The author considers the initial boundary value problem to the Navier-Stokes equations \[ \frac{\partial v}{\partial t}-\nu\Delta v+v\cdot\nabla v+\nabla p=f, \quad \text{div }v=0, \;x\in\Omega,\;0<t<T, \] \[ v=0, \quad x\in\partial\Omega,\quad v(x,0)=v_0(x), \quad x\in\Omega. \] Here \(\Omega\) is either \(\mathbb{R}^3\) or a bounded domain in \(\mathbb{R}^3\) with smooth boundary. It is proved that if \(v\) is a weak solution to the problem from \(L^\infty(0,T;L^3(\Omega))\) then the set of all possible singular points of \(v\) in \(\Omega\) at every time \(t_0\in(0,T)\) is at most finite. Moreover, an estimate for the number of singular points is given.
