\(G\) being an affine algebraic group acting on affine space \(\mathbb{A}^n\) with a morphism \(\alpha\), for a given ideal \(I \subseteq \Bbbk[x_1\dots,x_n]\), the authors give algorithms to find the elements \(\gamma \in G\) such that the image of \(I\) under the corresponding(right) action of \(\gamma \in G\) on \(\Bbbk[x_1,\dots,x_n]\) \begin{itemize} \item[--] is generated by binomials \item[--] is unital, i.e. generated by monomials and differences of monomials \item[--] admits a faithful \(\mathbb{Z}^r\)-grading with \(r\) as large as possible \item[--] is stabilized by as large a subgroup of \(T\) as possible (where here \(T\) is a given second algebraic group also acting on \(\mathbb{A}^n\).) \end{itemize} In particular, the authors determine whether there exists \(\gamma \in G\) such that \(I.\gamma\) has the respective property.
