In this paper, the authors study the following quasilinear problem \[ \begin{cases} \Delta_p u=\frac{u^q}{|x|^p}+g(\lambda, x, u)&\text{in }\Omega,\\ u\geq 0&\text{in }\Omega,\\ u=0&\text{on }\partial\Omega, \end{cases}\tag{P} \] where \(\Omega \) is a smooth bounded domain in \(\mathbb R^N,\, q>0 \) and \( 1<p<N.\) Regarding the function \(g,\) it is assumed to satisfy one of the two cases: (i) \(g(\lambda, x, u)\equiv 0;\) (ii) \(g(\lambda, x, u)= \lambda f(x)u^r, \) with \(\lambda >0\) and \(f(x)\geq 0\) belonging to \(L^\infty(\Omega)\) and \(0\leq r< p-1.\) First the authors consider the case (i) with \(0\in \partial \Omega\) and prove the existence of an energy solution for a convenient nonstarshaped domain using a variational approach to a functional which is a perturbation of the standard energy functional associated to problem (P). Second, by considering the case (ii) and taking again \(0\in \partial \Omega,\) the authors show the existence of an energy solution using the method of super- and subsolutions. Note that in the case (ii), the existence of solutions does not depend either on the exponent \(q\) or on the geometry of \(\Omega.\)
