It is well-known that studying the multiplicity of positive solutions of a one-dimensional Minkowski-curvature problems is equivalent to studying the shape of bifurcation curve. In this paper, the author studies the global bifurcation and exact multiplicity of positive solutions for a one-dimensional Minkowski-curvature problem. The author proves that the bifurcation curve is continuous and further classify its exact shape. Moreover, the author obtaines the exact multiplicity of positive solutions. The interesting point is that the nonlinearity in the problem is allowed to change sign.
