The authors aim at hygrothermoelastic response in a hollow cylinder considering dual-phase-lag heat-moisture coupling. The solutions are obtained using the Laplace transform method. The effects of the phase-lags of heat flux, moisture flux, temperature gradient and concentration gradient on the responses are calculated and displayed graphically. The abstract part is clear and what so ever the authors mention in the abstract is reflecting the title of the paper. The authors present the solution methodology clearly and no typographical errors are observed. The results are good in agreement with the existing results. I feel that the novelty of the work fulfills the journal standards.
