Two polyhedra \(P, Q\) in \(\mathbb{R}^{n}\) are called \(L\)-equal-sized with respect to a vector subspace \(L\subset\mathbb{R}^{n}\), \(\dim L=k\geq0\), if \[ V_{k}(P\cap\{x+v: x\in L\})=V_{k}(Q\cap\{x+v: x\in L\}) \] for all \(v\in\mathbb{R}^{n}\). In this case, we call \(Q\) is \(L\)-equal-sized with respect to \(P\). The main result in this paper can be stated as following: If \(P\) and \(Q\) are elementary polyhedra in \(\mathbb{R}^{n}\), then \(Q\) is \(L_{0}\)-equal-sized with respect to \(P\). Moreover, \(V_{n-1}(P\cap L_{t})\) is a polynomial.
