The author considers the homogenization of a standard Dirichlet problem for a linear elliptic equation in divergence form posed in a layered medium. The coefficients in the equation and the boundary data are oscillating in a certain fashion. The main target is the regularity of the (fixed) boundary data corresponding to the homogenized problem.
