    The paper deals with generalisations of the well-known embedding theorem \[ F^{s_0}_{p_0, \infty} (\mathbb R^n) \hookrightarrow F^s_{p.q} (\mathbb R^n) \] where \(s, s_0 \in \mathbb R\) and \[ s - \frac{n}{p} = s_0 - \frac{n}{p_0}, \quad 0<p_0 <p<\infty, \quad 0<q \leq \infty. \] First the basis spaces \(L_p (\mathbb R^n)\) are generalised by mixed spaces \(L_{\bar{p}}(R^n)\), quasi-normed by \[ \| f \, | L_{\bar{p}} \| = \left( \int_{\mathbb R} \cdots \left( \int_{\mathbb R} | f(x_1, \dots, x_n) | ^{p_1} \, d x_1 \right)^{\frac{p_2}{p_1}} \cdots dx_n \right)^{1/p_n}, \] where \(\bar{p} = (p_1, \dots, p_n)\). Theorem 6 extends the above embedding naturally to \[ F^s_{\bar{p}, \infty} (\mathbb R^n) \hookrightarrow F^t_{\bar{r}, q} (\mathbb R^n). \] This assertion is generalised in Theorem 7 to related anisotropic mixed spaces \(F^{s, \bar{a}}_{\bar{p},q} (\mathbb R^n)\) where \(\bar{a} = (a_1, \dots, a_n)\) stands for an anisotropy in \(\mathbb R^n\). The paper deals also with some embeddings of the above type for the corresponding Besov spaces \(B^s_{p,q} (\mathbb R^n)\) and their related generalisations.
