The paper studies conformal immersions of Lorentzian surfaces \((M,h)\) into pseudo-Euclidean spaces of any dimension and signature. Such an immersion is called isothermic if its shape operator assumes some canonical form (real diagonal, complex diagonal, or degenerated) in isothermic parameters, i.e. coordinates \(s\), \(t\) of \(M\) such that \(h\sim ds^2-dt^2\). The author derives a theorem on the Gauss map of an isothermic immersion. He also gives examples: Lorentzian rotation surfaces, the Bonnet family, and more.
