Ist \(A\) eine Menge natürlicher Zahlen und \(A(x)\) für jedes natürliche \(x\) die Anzahl der Elemente \(\leqq x\) von \(A\), so heißt \(\varliminf \dfrac{A(x)}x\) (\(x=1\), 2, 3, \dots) die asymptotische Dichte von \(A\). Verf. zeigt: Es sei \(A\) eine Menge natürlicher Zahlen von positiver asymptotischer Dichte; ferner seien \(a\), \(b\), \(c\) feste natürliche Zahlen. Dann hat auch die Menge der Zahlen \(n = ax^2+by^2 + cz^2\) mit \(x\), \(y\), \(z\) aus \(A\) eine positive asymptotische Dichte. Dies gilt also z.
