The author establishes estimates for the Hamilton flow \(\phi^ t\) on \(T^*X\) (X is a \(C^{\infty}\)-manifold) in local coordinates from an atlas which was fixed before and verifies the measure conditions associated with nearly closed bicharacteristics. The author verifies the conditions when \(\phi^ t\) is the geodesic flow and a) X has negative sectional curvature; b) \(X=T^ n\) is the n-dimensional torus with the Euclidean metric, \(n\geq 2\); c) \(X=G\) is a compact Lie group of rank \(>1\) with bi-invariant metric; d) X is a 2-dimensional convex analytic surface of revolution in \({\mathbb{R}}^ 3\), which is not a Zoll surface.
