Properads are devices like operads and PROPs which control certain (bi)algebraic structures, such as Lie bialgebras and Frobenius algebras. They are strictly more general than operads (which can model algebraic and coalgebraic structures, but not simultaneously) and strictly less general than props (which are capable of modeling structures like Hopf algebras). The authors study the categories governing infinity (wheeled) properads. The graphical category, which was already known to be generalized Reedy, is, in fact, an Eilenberg-Zilber category. A minor alteration to the definition of the wheeled graphical category allows the authors to show that it is a generalized Reedy category. Finally, the authors present model structures for Segal properads and Segal wheeled properads.
