In two-dimensional real space the quasi-exactly solvable (QES) scalar operators preserve the vector space \(P(n, m)\) of a couple of polynomials \(p_m (x)\) and \(p_n (x)\) of maximal degrees \(m\) and \(n\), respectively. Define then a hidden symmetry algebra \(A\) of a given QES system. It strongly depends on \(\delta=|m-n|\), so that \(A=A(\delta)\). If \(\delta =1\), A(1) is isomorphic to osp(2,2). It is shown that if \(\delta=2\), the irreducible and finite-dimensional representations of \(A(2)\) can be classified into five infinite discrete sets and one exceptional case. The corresponding matrix elements are derived explicitly.
