The author considers subclasses of the class \(Q\) of schlicht, holomorphic functions \(f(z)\) in the unit disk such that \(f(0)=1\) and \(zf(z)\) is schlicht. The class \(M\) consists of functions \(f(z)\in Q\) for which the function \(zf(z)\) is starlike with respect to the origin. The class \(N\) consists of functions \(f(z)\in Q\) for which the function \(zf(z)\) is convex. The author states ten theorems concerning properties of functions in \(Q\), \(M\), and \(N\). Occasional hints of proofs are also given. Included are coefficient estimates and various other estimates. The operator \(L_1[f(z)]= f(z)+ zf'(z)\) plays an important role.
