\(T_n\) denotes the full transformation semigroup on the set \(X_n=\{1,2,\dots,n\}\) and \(S_n\) denotes its group of units. That is, \(S_n\) is the full symmetric group on \(X_n\). Let \(S\) be a subsemigroup of \(T_n\). An automorphism \(\varphi\) of \(S\) is defined here to be inner if there exists a permutation \(\alpha\) of \(X_n\) such that \(\varphi(\beta)=\alpha\beta\alpha^{-1}\) and the group of all inner automorphisms of \(S\) is denoted by \(\text{Inn }S\). Denote by \(G_S\) the group of all permutations \(\alpha\) of \(X_n\) such that \(\alpha S\alpha^{-1}\subseteq S\). The subsemigroup \(S\) is said to be \(G\)-normal for a given subgroup \(G\) of \(S_n\) if \(G_S=G\). The collection \({\mathcal P}_G\) of all \(G\)-normal semigroups \(S\) with \(G\subseteq S\) is partially ordered by set inclusion and the maximal elements of \({\mathcal P}_G\) are referred to as \(G\)-normax semigroups. The authors show that if \(G\) is either transitive or is equal to its normalizer, then all the automorphisms of a \(G\)-normax semigroup \(S\) are inner and \(\text{Inn }S\cong G\). In addition, they provide a description of the \(G\)-normax semigroups for certain subgroups \(G\) of \(S_n\).
