Ist sowohl \(\root{n}\of{a^2- b}\) als \(\root{n}\of{a+\sqrt{b}}+\root{n}\of{a-\sqrt{b}}\) rational, so lässt die Grösse \(\root{n}\of{a+\sqrt{b}}\) sich als eine Summe von zwei Quadratwurzeln darstellen.
