A compact topological space is Radon-Nikodým (weakly Radon-Nikodým) iff it is homeomorphic to a \(w^*\)-compact subset of a dual space \(X^*\) with the RNP (\(l^1\) does not embed into \(X\)). The author constructs a space which is a continuous image of an RN space and is not WRN. In the second section, the QWRN spaces are defined. These are compact spaces that embed homeomorphically in \([0,1]^L\) where \(L\) is a set which has a decomposition with certain combinatorial properties related to independent sets. Every continuous image of a QWRN space is QWRN. It is proved that zero-dimensional QWRN spaces are WRN. It follows that the Stone-Čech compactification of the natural numbers is not QWRN. The author also proves that, for solid Corson compact spaces, WRN, QWRN and Eberlein compactness are equivalent properties.
