Let \(f\) and \(g\) be holomorphic functions. The authors study basic topological and analytical properties of the real map \(f\overline{g}: \mathbb C^n \rightarrow \mathbb C\), which is called the mixed function. In fact, in the theory of singularities there are many works related to this notion in the general setting (see, e.g., [\textit{M. Oka}, Kodai Math. J. 33, No. 1, 1--62 (2010; Zbl 1195.14061)], [\textit{N. A'Campo}, Nederl. Akad. Wet., Proc., Ser. A 76, 113--118 (1973; Zbl 0276.14004)]). The authors discuss some interesting problems occurred in the real setting. In particular, they describe natural conditions under which such map has an isolated critical value, the Milnor (tube) fibration, the Thom regular stratification and so on.
