Let \(n\geq 2\) and \(S^{n-1}\) be the unit sphere in \(\mathbb{R}^n\) equipped with the normalized Lebesgue measure \(d\sigma\). Suppose that \(\Omega\) is a homogeneous function of degree zero on \(\mathbb{R}^n\) that satisfies \(\Omega\in L^1(S^{n-1})\) and \[ \int_{S^{n-1}} \Omega(x)\,d\sigma= 0. \] For a suitable mapping \(\Psi:\mathbb{R}^n\to \mathbb{R}^m\), \(m\in\mathbb{N}\) and a measurable function \(h: \mathbb{R}^+\to\mathbb{R}\), the authors study the integral operator \(\mu_{\Psi,\Omega,h}\) of Marcinkiewicz type defined on the test function space by \[ \mu_{\Psi, \Omega,h} f(x)= \Biggl(\int_{\mathbb{R}} |\sigma_{t,\Psi} f(x)|^2\,dt\Biggr)^{1/2}, \] where \[ \sigma_{t,\Psi} f(x)= 2^{-t} \int_{|y|\leq 2^t} f(x-\Psi(y))|y|^{1-n} \Omega(y) h(|y|)\,dy. \] In the paper, the authors investigate the case of revolution \[ \Psi=\Psi_\Phi= \{y,\Phi(|y|): y\in \mathbb{R}^n\} \] for various real-valued functions \(\Phi\). By assuming certain size conditions on \(h\) and assuming \(\Omega\) is in certain block space \(B^{0,0}_q(S^{n-1})\), the authors establish the \(L^p\) boundedness of \(\mu_{\Psi,\Omega,h}\), \(1< p<\infty\), if \(\Phi\) satisfies some geometry conditions. It is known that any function \(\Omega\) in \(B^{0,0}_q(S^{n-1})\) can be written as the sum of an \(H^1\) function and an \(L(\log L)\) function. This result was proved by X. Ye in his Ph.D. Thesis in Zhejiang University, China (2006).
