A general scheme is proposed for finding an element of the solution set of an equilibrium problem and the set of common fixed points of countably many fixed-point problems in a Hilbert space. The strong convergence of the proposed method is studied. The proximal point method and the extragradient method are incorporated into the general scheme to obtain strong convergence results. Some numerical examples are also given to illustrate the algorithms and results.
